"I bear witness in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and Heavenly Father that the Book of Mormon is true.
It is the word of God. And all who read it with a sincere heart and open mind shall come to know its teachings are true and that Jesus is the Christ. The Father of Heaven.
"Just went and saw the Witnesses film at the theater. What a beautiful, raw telling of the history of the Book of Mormon and what some had to do to preserve its fullness.
How challenging of a situation it must have been for the early members of the Church. So fascinating and it really made it real for me. they were real people with actual concerns and challenges.
It was really well done!"
"As I watched the movie and saw the many events of these early men and women who were instrumental in the restoration of the Church and the translation of the Book of Mormon, I was impressed with their devotion and strength.
These were the imperfect men and women who experienced discouragement, confusion, pride, triumph and disappointment, just like all of us.
I wondered if I could be as valiant as they were when faced with the challenges they were. I add my witness to the truth of the Book of Mormon and encourage everyone to go to watch this film."
"I hear ya David Whitmer. Faulty as we all are, I will never deny my testimony."
"I've never seen the golden plates, but I stand with millions of people who are on this earth that prayed and asked if this is the true church of Jesus Christ. And millions of us have been given a spiritual witness like that, like Martin Harris, we can never deny this is His church and his gospel
We don't know all of the circumstances or reasons why Martin Harris drifted! If I ever do drift, I am the same as he.
I cannot and will not ever deny what I've received from heaven."
"My favorite thing about the film is that it didn't shy away from the controversial parts of Church history. Rather than gloss over them or skip them altogether, the film showed how those events impacted the decisions of early Church members and leaders. The film gives color to the black and white understanding many of us think we have of these people.
As a result, I have so much more appreciation and respect for (the 3 witnesses) David Whitmer, Martin Harris, and Oliver Cowdery.
If you are a Latter-day Saint, this is a must-see movie."
